The Florida Holocaust Museum recently honored 84 high school juniors from Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Manatee and Sarasota counties with the seventh annual Anne Frank Humanitarian Award. The Museum is pleased to have 100% participation from all 82 high schools in the five county area.
Dr. Judy Genshaft, University of South Florida President, and Gayle Sierens, Co-Anchor WFLA-TV News Channel 8 and the AFHA program’s Honorary Co-Chairman, attended as special guest speakers to join the Museum in recognizing the efforts and accomplishments of these fine young people to make a difference in their schools and communities.
Congratulations again to all the award recipients – we encourage you to continue your efforts to make the world a better place!
