Presentations at State, National and International Conferences, as well as preparation for the March of the Living and March of Hope and Remembrance. |

| Th e Florida Holocaust Museum’s Annual Summer
Institute on the Holocaust began in 1994 after the
State of Florida mandate on Holocaust education
was passed in Senate Bill 660 as Florida Statute
233.061. Teaching about the Holocaust in grades
K-12 is a part of required instruction. |

Human Rights and Genocide Studies

| Summer Institute on the Holocaust. This is a
five-day seminar that challenges the learner to
investigate episodes of man’s inhumanity to one
another through a study of other genocides that
have occurred around the globe. This seminar
may investigate Armenia, Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur, as well as examine human rights violations
exemplifi ed by the United States, the Japanese Internment, South Africa and others. Th ere are evening sessions. |
